Hi
I'm going to look for our stuff
Tell me what you lost?
[There. Link has successfully managed to Communicate Using The Network. He feels very accomplished.]

Not really familiar with this kind of technology?

A little while later, Link walks through the library doors and starts looking around. Unfortunately, he doesn’t actually know who he’s looking for - all he has to go off of is a username, ‘scarab’.
Maybe someone who likes beetles? Someone like Beedle? Link starts looking for anyone in any obviously beetle-related gear.

So she lifts a hand to wave him over - worst case scenario, he's meeting someone else, and she can possibly point him in the right direction after a bit of mild embarrassment.

“Hi,” he says, before adding, “…You like beetles?” He can’t see her in anything beetle related, but she’s the only one trying to get his attention - so he takes a guess.

She comes to her feet, and offers him a hand. "My name's Layla."

Still, she wants to shake hands, so Link shakes hands. Maybe with a bit of an awkward grip. "I'm Link." He grabs his Slate, and holds it up. "I have a map?"
no subject
"Great. Start it up, and let's see what we're working with here."

Deftly, Link taps at the Slate's screen, soon bringing up the map function. He might not be very familiar with digital communication tools but this, at least, he's well practiced at using.
When he has the map open, he holds it out so Layla can see. A tiny icon of a chest marks all of the locations of the Sylphid's depots and post offices.

"That's a lot of potential targets. We'll need to prioritize, unless you can pull together a massive team."
no subject
"Lots of people say they want to come." Though not really - the group isn't that large. But to Link, it's a lot of people.

Some things, while he'd be sad never to get them back, he could live without. But other things...other things he wasn't willing to let go of.
And for the Sword the Seals the Darkness, letting that go absolutely was not an option.

"That's an odd choice."

He taps at the screen again, before turning it around to show her a different screen. This one looks to be an inventory of sorts. There looks to be a few different subsections, with the one currently showing labeled 'Weapons'.
There's also a small thumbnail picture of a broom, a spear, and a club - and a lot of blank, apparently empty spaces. The only weapon missing from the screen is his sword - and that's because it's on his back.
