"It's an old nickname from when I was a little girl," she replies, giving him a slightly-crooked smile. Not quite the whole truth, but it's easier than explaining that it's one her divine patron had decided was important enough to theme the superpowers she no longer has access to around.

She comes to her feet, and offers him a hand. "My name's Layla."

Okay, that's clearly not a common cultural point. Layla files that away for future reference, and doesn't let her smile slip in spite of the somewhat awkward clasp of hands.

"Great. Start it up, and let's see what we're working with here."

"Treasure chests?" she asks, the corners of her mouth twitching slightly as she swallows back a laugh. It's a little on the nose, considering.

"That's a lot of potential targets. We'll need to prioritize, unless you can pull together a massive team."

"I'm not surprised." She hadn't seen many responses by her standards - but that doesn't mean others haven't reached out to him privately. "People will want their own equipment - and most of us don't have that many pieces of home here."

"You mean they wiped its native programs?" Layla asks, because that makes much more sense to her than what it sounds like he's saying. Surely a tablet can't actually hold objects.

"That's an odd choice."
