It must be a different world from mine then, even if it is Earth. They said that's possible, didn't they? Because where I come from, no one outside of the Nordic countries made it, at least as far as we know.

That's true. Most of the people I've talked to from Earth here were pretty familiar with the things I was that I kind of took that for granted.

I think time is a possibility too. I really need to have a look at whatever tech it is they used to bring us here, it sounds amazing.

I've never heard of mutant turtles before, so it must be after. Then again, I've also never heard of the places you mentioned, so for all I know there were mutant turtles running all over New York before the Rash.

The Rash is a disease that turns people and animals into monsters, to keep it very simple. I can't imagine if you were from my future, you wouldn't have heard of it. It ended the world as we knew it.

Kind of sounds like the deal with the oozesquitos and who they mutate, but...worse. I mean, it's hit or miss what the mutants end up looking like but for the most part if they were human originally then they still act like humans.

We all come from different environments. You may have to switch your sleep schedule and allow yourself to be more active at night.

I suppose I could do that, though it's too hot at night too. I can barely sleep.

I found some linen shirts and pants. I've been wearing those with boots. Are there lighter fabrics?

There is a stream, in the forest - not too deep in. I also constructed a small pool for myself to cool off and relax when required.

Having fur, I have found cooling water to be a necessity.
