Hi
I'm going to look for our stuff
Tell me what you lost?
[There. Link has successfully managed to Communicate Using The Network. He feels very accomplished.]
[[ooc: Plotting post for this is here. If you want to get involved in helping to retrieve items - or you'd like another character to retrieve something for you - comment there too]]

Obviously I'm volunteering myself!
What's the plan?

Go look at Sylphid depots and post offices
Watch. Figure out how to break in
Get our stuff

Different places at the same time
no subject
Definitely sounds like you need a team, then.
Probably several, if you're going to hit multiple places at the same time, and have separate scouting and raiding parties.
Do you have someone in mind to coordinate all of that?
Or were you planning on handling the organization yourself?
no subject
[No, he does not have someone in mind. No, he does not plan to coordinate himself. He was planning to go on his own, until suddenly it turned out that all these other people were coming too]
no subject
Then it sounds like you need an organizer, too!
I have a lot of experience with coordinating and running sting operations like this, so I can do that for you.
My magic should also help on-mission as well.
[This is not posed as a question, because Codi is not asking for permission. Surely Link will thank her later.]
no subject
[Does Link want to organise this? No. No he does not. He’s more than happy for someone to take that over. But…]
Who are you?
no subject
My apologies - obviously I've gotten too comfortable with my network presence!
This is Codi.
no subject
You named yourself Tyrant?
no subject
"The Tyrant"
[Waiting for the inevitable "why" - this won't be the first time she's had this discussion.]
no subject
[maybe not exactly the question you were expecting, Codi]
no subject
Are you aware of what a superhero is?
no subject
no subject
You got an ability for being Heba, right?
Superheroes have powers like that and use them to help people who don't have powers themselves.
It's the custom where I come from to do it anonymously, as a vigilante. So we all pick titles to operate under and keep our identities secret from the public.

I can show memories
...You're abilities make you a tyrant?
[there are other Very Confusing parts of that explanation, but for now this is the one Link will focus on]
no subject
Sort of.
My abilities were pretty powerful, but also I was the leader of my vigilante organization. I picked the name more to reflect my position rather than my powers.
[Which is...mostly true. She picked the name because it made her seem like she had more power and control than she actually possessed - an important image to maintain, if you're CEO of an organization full of superhumans and you can't personally control your own abilities. It kept people on their toes around her, and she liked that.]
no subject
So you're a cruel and oppressive leader
no subject
That's what my competitors believe, sure.
[It might also be true - Codi will neither confirm nor deny these accusations.]
no subject
[She picked the name. Why do that, if she didn't believe it?
no subject
Not in the slightest.
I picked it purely for the PR factor, I assure you.
no subject
no subject
It's a business term, don't worry about it too much.
My point is, I picked the name because it leaves a strong impression on people who don't know me very well.
They might assume that someone called "The Tyrant" would be a domineering, no-nonsense collector of power - someone that you shouldn't trifle with in, say, corporate negotiations.
But my friends know that I'm a perfectly agreeable person that's willing to compromise and work together with others, of course.
[ of course ]

That's a little harsh, Link.
Didn't we work together just fine on the propaganda project? And am I not offering my skills to this endeavor, free of charge?

You were very bossy
