people REALLY enjoy that
the person tied up gets to be all helpless and at the mercy of the other person
then the person doing the tying gets to be all powerful and tease the person who's tied up
mutually beneficial
been on both ends myself and loved every minute of it
only do it with someone ya trust though
especially if you're new to it

personally I think it's a lil more fun with someone you don't trust
but that's just me

I think you're right; it would involve a lot of trust. Though a tether partner or someone with a similar bond would be trustworthy since you'd know their intent and they'd know if they did something you didn't like.
